Frozen Drink Machine – Operating Instructions
We experience very few problems with this model machine. The main issue is usually power related and can be resolved over the phone, so please follow our instructions carefully and avoid unnecessary problems with your rental.
We test all of our machines on their return to our faciltity. If you do not call to inform us of a problem and we find that the equipment is working correctly then we will not refund the rental. If you call us then we will correct the problem in time for your party or in the event of our failure to do that, we will refund 100% of your bill.
We recommend that you setup your machine a few hours ahead of the party. The mix is good for many hours so just go ahead and get the machine freezing down.All machines are delivered with an industrial quality 12 gauge extension cord attached. Do not use a household extension cord as they will not work and can cause equipment damage.
Follow the instructions for preparing the mix and then connect the machine directly to a power outlet. This machine requires a dedicated power circuit (20 amps).
The “ON switch” (which is located below and to the left of the margarita man sign, on front of unit) is a three position toggle switch. The left position is “ON”, right is “CLEAN: and middle is “OFF”.
Make sure that the machine is switched on otherwise it will not freeze down.This is the first thing we will ask you to do if you call us.
Instructions for making frozen drinks
Regular Lime
- Put 3.5 gallons (14 qts) of water into bucket provided
- Add one bottle of regular lime mix
- Then pour 1.75 liters to 3 liters of tequila or rum depending on desired strength into bucket
- Remove lid from machine and pour all of the mix into the top hopper
- Turn toggle switch into the ON position. this is a three position toggle switch – the left position is “ON”.( Located below and to the left of the margarita man sign, on front of unit)
- Wait 45 minutes and enjoy
Strawberry, Pina Colada, and all other flavors
(With these flavors it is possible to mix two batches at the same time so just double up on everything below)
- Put 2.5 gallons (10 qts) of water into bucket provided
- Add one bottle of mix
- Pour 2 liters of Tequila, Rum or Vodka (depending on flavor) into the bucket
- Remove lid from machine and pour all of the mix into the top hopper
- Turn toggle switch to the ON position – this is a three position toggle switch – the left position is “ON”.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS FOR PROBLEMS THAT YOU CAN SOLVE QUICKLY.
Problem:
The machine has been on for an hour and is not freezing down.
Symptoms:
Look at the front of the machine where the mix is circulation. If it is moving very slowly then this is definitely a power issue. If it is moving fast then it is likely that the TOGGLE switch is in the “CLEAN” position.
Fix:
- Ensure that the toggle is in the “ON” position (left is ON, right is CLEAN and middle is OFF)
- If the mix is circulating slowly, remove any extension cords and plug the machine directly into a power outlet.
- You should see an immediate change in the circulation speed and the problem is solved. You will still have to wait about 45 minutes to allow the machine to completely freeze down.
- Remember it is preferable if the power circuit you are using has no other equipment/appliances using it.
